The three smaller ski areas Einsiedeln, Hoch Ybrig and Brunni-Mythen are situated in an idyllic open pre-alpine landscape at 1000 to 2000m and are equally suitable for skiers and snowboarders. The ski school at Ybrig is the oldest ski school in Switzerland.
Skiing

Cross-country skiing
With over 27 km of groomed trails for skating or classic style, the Studen cross-country skiing center is a popular destination. (Source: https://www.studen-sz.ch) Cross-country skiing becomes a pleasure on the trails of the Schwedentritt Club in Einsiedeln, Gross and Alpthal. The cross-country skiing network comprises about 30 km of skating and classic tracks from about the end of November to mid-March. Sledding
A toboggan run for young and old can be found at the Laucheren chairlift, Oberiberg. Toboggan rental directly at the valley station of the chairlift Laucheren. (Source: https://www.hoch-ybrig.ch) If there is enough snow in the village of Unteriberg, a toboggan run is prepared from the Berghaus Höchgütsch to the village of Unteriberg.
